Play-Based Learning
At Adorable Child Care Centre, play is at the heart of how we educate and engage young minds. We understand that children learn best when they are actively involved and interested in their activities. Through play, which encompasses their interests and imaginations, children naturally explore, create, and deepen their understanding of the world. We support their learning journey using a variety of methods including language, numbers, art, music, movement, and hands-on experimentation, all tailored to their individual interests and learning styles.
Emerging Curriculum
At our Centre, we use an Emergent Curriculum approach that follows children’s interests, questions, observations, and everyday experiences. Our educators create meaningful opportunities for play, exploration, problem-solving, and discovery while supporting each child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Through family and community partnerships, we nurture belonging, confidence, creativity, and a love for learning.
Circle of security
At Adorable Child Care Centre, we use the Circle of Security approach to help children feel safe, supported, and understood. Through warm relationships, consistent care, and responsive guidance, we create an environment where every child can explore, learn, return for comfort, and build confidence.
Reggio Emilia Approach
At our Centre, we are inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach, which views children as capable, competent, and full of potential. This child-centered philosophy encourages learning through exploration, inquiry, creativity, and meaningful relationships.
Children express their ideas and understanding in many ways through art, play, movement, music, storytelling, and hands-on experiences. Educators act as guides and co-learners, supporting children’s interests through observation, collaboration, and inquiry.
