How It All Started
Adorable Child Care Centre began as a dream rooted in dedication, compassion, and the belief that every child deserves a safe, nurturing place to grow. Our journey started with Adorable Family Child Care, a licensed home‑based program that opened on January 3, 2019. On March 25, 2019, we received our first licence from Manitoba Early Learning and Child Care to care for eight children, marking the beginning of a vision that would continue to expand.
In the early days, our outreach was simple but heartfelt: community flyers, social media posts, and personal visits to nearby schools. These efforts helped us build strong, trusting relationships with families who valued our responsiveness, professionalism, and commitment to children’s well‑being. Many of those families remain connected to us today, reflecting the solid foundation created during our home‑based beginnings.
As demand grew, Adorable Family Child Care expanded into Adorable Group Family Child Care, increasing our licensed capacity from 8 to 12 children. Yet the need for more child care spaces continued to rise. Families sought reliable, high-quality care that supported their children’s development while giving parents and caregivers the confidence and flexibility to pursue work, education, business, and other responsibilities.
Listening to our community, we took the next bold step. Adorable Child Care Centre is now transitioning into a larger, purpose‑built facility at 1201 Manahan Avenue, Winnipeg, approved for 56 children—8 infants and 48 preschoolers. This expansion allows us to offer accessible, affordable, and high‑quality early learning programs supported by a dedicated team of Early Childhood Educators (ECEs) and Child Care Assistants (CCAs).
Today, Adorable Child Care Centre stands as a vibrant, growing hub for early learning, built on trust, strengthened by community, and inspired by the belief that every child deserves the very best start in life.

Adorable Child Care Centre operates as a not‑for‑profit organization grounded in quality, compassion and a strong commitment to providing quality early learning and care to the children we serve.. We are dedicated to providing safe, nurturing, and developmentally rich environments where children can learn, grow, and thrive.
Our centre is guided by an experienced Executive Director with extensive training and leadership in early childhood education. As an Early Childhood Educator III, she leads our team with professionalism, expertise, and a deep commitment to supporting families and strengthening our community.
Adorable Child Care Centre continues to grow, empowering parents, supporting children’s development, and delivering high‑quality early learning programs through our dedicated team of ECEs and CCAs.
